What

It's a term for killing female characters

sorawut

Happened with a comic book character and his girlfriend

Oh wow

She got killed and was put in a fridge

Omg...

Which is where the term fridging came from

monkaS

:linkusS:

Usually when a female characters is killed just to give more motivation to the male character, turning her into a mere plot device

Usually it is regarded as a very bad trope that should be avoided

Which is more or less what happened to Kairi

Yes

And to be honest I don't even get it

Did someone btw say fridge? :treckLove: :treckWave: :treckPop:

Xehanort, you already said you want to use Kingdom Hearts to alter reality itself, why do you think Sora needs "more motivation"

He needed one of them to attack

Kairi wasn't because...she doesn't fight

So he killed her to motivate them

That's where the last key came from

Kairi never created a key, but Sora's clash did

So if Xehanort didn't kill Kairi... would they just have stood there

At least, that's how I understood it

Yes

There was no one else to attack

Xehanort was missing a key

ya know

hmmm but wouldn't this lead to Xehanort just kidnapping the princesses?

Why couldn't Xehanort be the one to initiate the clash

this whole game couldve been avoided if we just never went to KBG

pain

just go home to dstiny islands

and eat dinner

and sleep

I guess he could have attacked them but it's safer for him to just kill Kairi and get an angry attack from them, that he can predict

No, the princesses would have been targeted then

So they couldn't ignore it then either

And er, maybe he was just being a dick

pain

That makes sense, I guess
