He just said "the game feels a tad undercooked" and that was it

He was smart and stopped taking the plot 100% seriously from KH2 onwards

That's why you see so many people get upset at others, not solely because "you're saying bad things, ree", but sometimes wording can feel really off

It's like saying "when will everyone wake up and realize kh3 isn't very good"

What I meant was that Johnny acted sensibly for his own sake and stopped taking a story that he ultimately did not care much for seriously

Of course, that makes sense.. if you don't like a story too much after all, it's okay to not follow it so closely

You see, you may think I retconned my statement, but I merely plotwisted it into shape!

I mean.. plot twists can be built off of things that were left in the narrative

I remember Johnny being meh when I was talking about the kh3 trailers last year

And if the twist can make you look back and see the groundwork for it, then it's a good twist in that regard, least imo

a plot twist doesn't always need to be obvious to necessarily be the :only good example", but i guess we've had this convo many times already about retcon v. plot twist and the thin line between them

Johnny was not that negative, if anything he's a great representation of a somewhat negative detached position
