@Marsh, the purple one is my favorite also b/c of the long-range laser blast. The trade off is the lower stamina and defense, making it a glass canon.

I disagree. Olympus was a great place to do it. It's the same place where you have Herc who went through the same thing. Sora got his powers back one step at a time, and they introduced it all properly. TT was only used as a way to know more about Roxas. The world wasn't even big enough to let you go through each of the new mechanics and their introduction to them.

You basically started by learning magic first > Then the transformations > off to shotlocks > Airstepping

And although the world is linear, it was big enough that by the time you got to the next area, you would have used the new mechanics properly and gotten used to them

Although yeah, Gummi phone should have been introduced earlier
