They are as canon as the V-cast

But that's more a feeling then, not really.. a reason why the books shouldn't be considered canon

Disliking them doesn't make them any less of a canon thing, and if there's more details from them, well,heck yeah

The novels can add as much details as they want, like Vanitas being abused, but it's never something showed in the original source so you can't take it as canon

It's a glorified fan-fiction, but it's officially licensed and stuff

From what I understand, If something in the novels/manga (mainly novels) don't contradict whats in the game, it can be considered canon, such as Vanitas' backstory.

My take is there is different canons

Pretty much if you like game canon then that good, if you like manga or visual novel canon more that's cool too.

I mean.. Nomura literally took a scene from the KH2 light novels and added them into Kh2FM

So unless it gets added into the games its not registering on what I consider canon

That's basically the same point to say "Chi wasn't canon before" which wasn't exactly said.. Nomura just said "Chi could be enjoyed seperate from main series" and that's still true.. you can play it and not havin to play the main series.

Like we know Sora has small feet while in manga he feet ar like blimps

2) Was on browsers only

3) not even a really good game

Whether or not chi is canon at that time doesn't matter now. It's integrated into UX now so it is canon

I dont think it is. You were saying that nomura added scenes in form the light novel and thats great, he liked it enough to make it part of the main canon

ButI'm just also clarfiying that.. People said and considered Chi to be non-canon, but that wasn't ever said

If the novels that are coming out now gets added into the future games, then it's canon to the actual source. But right now it isn't
