im pretty sure these games let you skip the tutorial.. its just that you still have to play the section

You know whatI wish we could turn off, those stupid ass info boxes

if you don't explore the islands most of (or at least a huge part of it) the story are tutorial sections

also they are missing like 85% of pirates 3 story

all they have is the beginning and ending

which makes pirates 3 one of my lease favorite worlds story wise

They have to cut corners for cohesion's sake.

Kh2 never cut corners in telling pirates 1 story

I'm not sure i entirely get what you mean.. ? because yeah, a game shouldn't just be tutorials, but.. if the game is introducing a brand new mechanics, well

That's because Pirates 1 story didn't have that much going on

they really improved that compared to kh2

Pirates 3 is the conclusion to a trilogy, it had more stuff in it.

Pirates follows the trilogy rules.. the first establishes the universe

the second broadens the universe

but like there are 3 cutscenes in the whole world dedicated to the movie with sora not in them

and the third basically builds off the second one, while going all in on its world by either action or sttory telling

and that is supposed to be the entire plot synopsis

keep in mind that's about movies, tho

not games or books

Well, games can follow that, but many don't (and that's fine)
