Amano can't be a co writer because Papa Nomura doesn't want to share. Or they both have different visions for the same product and respect each other enough to write their own visions. Thus no collaborating. Like why the woman who wrote the TV adaption of Pretty Little Liars has never gone off and written a book alongside the authoress of the books themselves.
