and at night have the heartless

and very few npsc

you can btw reduce the view distance to improve the performance. but tbh i don't like it if a npc's randomly appears in front of me bc of the low distance

Like you could do the opposite and basically have town areas have a day night cycle

it is as immersion breaking as reducing the amount of npcs

I'm convinced TT in KH2 has a day cycle of sorts

Well actually at one point in the game when you fight nobodies in the one area, the nobodies will spawn and npcs will instantly fade out

Imagination only gets you so far, actually implementing them takes a hell of a lot of effort

To be fair the devs are kinda limited by hardware, but if by limited you mean that they put an inordinate amount of effort to make the graphics as pretty as possible to the point of sacrificing gameplay and performance, then I'm afraid that'll keep happening for a long time.

And the PS4 is weak sauce as well, good GPU but suckish CPU, i.e. good graphics, bad framerate.
