Heres my theory

That's highkey why I'm excited for the next consoles, they're not cheapening out on putting a good CPU there and we'll have games with great performance, and even if devs focus too much on graphics they're going to throw us a bone and give us a performance option.

But that's off-topic and I wanna hear Arthur's theory, so whatever.

the next KH game will have way more content now that they have the assets and understand more effectively what they are working with

Since KH3 was a big jump between consoles generations, they likely firetrucked up quite alot during development

most of the assets look pretty awesome already. so I'm excited for the next games

Yeah, Nomura mentioned that they had a rough time having to make all assets from scratch.

These names are confusing me way too damn much

I love how the new models really look like disney characters

especially Sora

Like imagine working with Ps2 hardware level stuff for almost 10 years, then having to make a game on a PS4 with no very little knowledge on how it works

And there was the change in engine from luminous to Unreal

which scrapped 2 years worth of work

Which I think ended up helping them in the long run anyway.

which likely looked terrible in motion because the Luminous engine was not designed for firetrucking action jrpgs

Osaka also improved massively regarding gameplay. imo they can do the normal kh gameplay better than this command deck bs

they should build off of the formchange motif and push to be more like KH2 on top of it
