In a way the worlds are quite varied in level design

Someone told me that the worlds in KH3 were just a straight line with no exploration

What bothers me about the exploration in KH3 is that in most of the worlds there isn't that much useful stuff to find.

it is a huge step up from the past games though

Caribbean and San Fransokyo at least have Adamantite and Electrum, so that's good.

by itself, it isn't that impressive, but compared to past KH games

I'm talking about actual exploration, going out of your way to explore branching paths and alternative areas.

Not as good as KH1 imo

2nd best for exploration is still good

KH1's is great

KH1 had decent exploration but many items were Gummi stuff.
