Was she afraid? Well, then show her afraid. Zoom in on her face, make her get a cold sweat, make her pant, do something to transmit to the audience that she was afraid and got imobilized.

Was she in pain from getting her arm twisted? Well, do more of an effort to show her in pain, make her shout "my wrist!" or something along those lines.

But instead the scene is awkward and bad because there is nothing directly shown to us that serves as a concrete reason as to why she stood still and didn't put up any struggle. So the message that sticks to the audience at the end of it all is that she just let it happen, which gives the impression that her training was just useless.

thats why a time skip was ment to be here

If anything, I am not angry at Kairi, I am angry at Nomura for how much he neglected her and just fridged her, without showing an ounce of effort even when it came to the scenes where those events transpired

this all takes place not even a week after kh2...................... WHAT

Not really

no i saw a week

We don't know the exact measurement, but no way it's six months

should have been a 2 year time skip

KH2 ends and Re:Coded happens shortly after, DDD happens shortly after it and KH3 begins hours after 3D ends

nope

still that 1 year

I would put it at two months maximum

Probably around the one month mark

but anyway time skip was needed

would make kairi more combat ready

I agree, maybe not even a year, but we could afford six months or so

hes 15 actually

riku 16

kairi 15

Also, the reason Nomura made Kairi's training happen in a place where time doesn't exist is exactly so he wouldn't have to deal with "wow, her training was really short" bs.

yet it still was

Yeah, which just goes to show how far ahead Nomura planned laughsinnomura

In my headcanon time just passes slower there, like 10 minutes there = 1 minute here or some shit

Because places where time doesn't pass just opens up a chasm of worms, as Miggle accurately put it.

oh we did that plenty of times

And yeah, KH3's endgame was hastily out together due to a variety of issues

Even Nomura admitted KH3 didn't turn out the way he wished

Which is a shame because we'll have Re:Mind which many people think will "fix" KH3's story but will end up being more of a giant awkward band-aid on the plot's injures.

If in your mind KH3's story is "broken", then I'm sorry but nothing is going to "fix" it.

We are different because games can be written by one person but we can't write our own lives ourselves strelitziapeek

I mean if you had a journal and a pen you could totally write your life

I refuse your hypothesis

This'll need a scientific investigation. Put ansem the wise on the phone
