Well, as I was saying, one of the problems I have with KH3 is how impenetrable it is in a way, it's so full of random dialogue and word salad, just like the rest of the series

But for some reason it didn't work out for me as well as it did in previous entries

Cause everyone talks like a damn robot especially riku

I guess it's because the games were full of word salad because they were setting things up and staying vague on purpose, then when the big game with the big answers came out it was... more word salad

Which just got tiring

I think you were expecting moreso a whole game full of keyblade graveyard stuff

I assume anyway

I don't really know what you mean by "whole game"

The problem I have with the Keyblade Graveyard is that it has the problem of a lot happening

But it's just... a lot happening

Well, it's more like, you wanted more main plot happening for the whole game unlike past games since this was the culmination

But that's the crux, it was more due to how many things were supposed to be wrapped up

I mean all this time building up the final battle and it turned out meh

The finale of 3, the whole keybalde graveyard and final world segments are my favorite parts of the series.

Like, what we need to understand is that what we needed wrapped up was not only the base, hard plot, but also the thematic elements

I was honestly happy with the ending except for the Kairi thing

Xehanort got the best possible ending imo

But, idk, I wasn't expecting everything to be resolved. I was thinking that at least half of the plot points were going to be extended to later games

And it doesn't bother me personally

Like, in KH2 you have a sizeable portion of the game being diatribes about identity and what it meant to Roxas, and then at the end the game shoots itself in the foot by making Roxas go against his theme as give up his own identity

And then he comes back in KH3 and he doesn't even mention anything about identity

So Roxas returned, which is what we wanted, but his character feels weird because he's missing the thematic angle

Regarding the plot points Joshua, I must disagree there

I was fully expecting many plot threads to be resolved, which they were, of course

But the sheer amount of stuff this game sets up for the future is mind boggling

Yeah I get that

It does nothing but detract from the conclusive feel the game should have

And I'm not talking about small things like Luxord's card

I'm talking about dedicating a full cutscene for Xemnas to tell Larxene and Demyx about their "keyblade legacy"

Which doesn't come up again for the remainder of the game

And also there's the firetrucking Black Box
