Honestly it just cements to me that, while I'm sure Nomura gave as much as he could to KH3, it is so clear he wasn't personally overseeing it as much as he could have

The parts of KH3 that have the "best" KH feeling are 0.2 and Olympus, which were almost certainly made before he was yeeted to 7R

During the development of 3 he did stuff for 7R, Xenoblade 2 and FFXIV Shadowbringers simultaneously

The last two was just art

yeah and it still takes for an artist almost 3-6 hours to do art stuff

Yeah, art is very time consuming

But truth is, although I don't like to assume how much Nomura was overseeing, it's clear from interviews that it wasn't a whole lot

I didn't wanna mean he didn't put effort in, but the art didn't take as much time away as 7R did

Imagine being busy and actively involved in massive projects that require a lot of your time and attention, it's natural that the you will not pay as much attention as the one you are just overseeing.

And yeah, the biggest clue is that Yasue was the one who was dealing with Disney, that's not his job

We shouldn't be hearing interviews where Yasue is saying he had to compromise with Disney on summons, that should be coming from Nomura's mouth.

Well, if it was coming from Nomura's mouth he'd say "They didn't like the idea of summons but I did it anyway"

I mean why not just using FF summons instead? The only reason disney didn't want summons is because they don't like Disney characters not being in the world they belong to

Remember that absolutely hilarious interview where Nomura said "Disney being more strict made working with them easier in the end"

I feel like if Nomura was more in charge we might have had ff summons
