Shortly after finishing the game, the emotional high of those cutscenes was still very present

you can all laugh at this one

It is after being distanced from that emotional high with the passage of time that you start noticing the flaws

When I was fresh off of KH3, the cutscene flaws that really stood out to me were Isa, Xehanort and Roxas and Ven not reacting to each other

I was too puzzled by everyone dying to form an opinion on it

pffft well one thing is for certain. we're all still quite sarcastic to each other

When I first saw Saïx in that Clock Tower, I though it was pretty nifty. "Hey, he's a good guy for real now. That's pretty good."

How wholesome and composed in comparison to my reaction

And then a few weeks later you realize that that moment was a typical case of KH3 going from A to Z

Actually, there was a brief moment where I accepted KH3's finale, all thanks to Riku taking Namine's hand

14 year old me leapt out and screamed, "VALIDATION!"

I thought it was pretty funny that the first time we actually saw Naminé was at the very, very, very end of the game.

It was a damn good 20 seconds nonetheless

HD Naminé is good regardless of duration

okay but i'm still legitimately happy about this

I remember shortly after beating it , I had a conversation with someone who reacted more positively towards it. After I kept complaining, he asked, "Is there anything you did like about it?"

And beyond shipping validation, I remember thinking to myself then and there...

"...firetruck."

wait so, within the same day i went from "yeah KH3 was okay" to
