I was replaying kh1 leading up to kh3, and you remember that screen transition thing where the screen became a square and floated off?

so it did that, but it glitched. It just kept floating off, and the screen became black. But the game kept going. So I just randomly swung around in the darkness and ended up saving Goofy from the dark-room by pure luck lol

Dark Riku's red shockwaves are needlessly obnoxious

You know what’s firetrucking obnoxious is saix’s shockwaves

They take up so much firetrucking space and travel at such a speed to where the initial slam could miss but THEY still hit you

the shockwaves arent too bad

its that his freaking flying claymores stun you then you get hit by them

Thing is Saix's openings appear much sooner

Dark Riku goes through a warehouse of attacks before he's open

saix telegraphs himself very well imo
it's super easy to react, its just annoying with the flying claymores

Riku on the other hand

who the hell knows how any of us beat him

But I feel like at least when Riku’s open you do more damage for some reason, it just always felt that way I dunno

But more importantly, when you're juggling Saix, SHOCKWAVES AREN'T STILL RAPIDLY APPEARING FROM BENEATH YOU

Okay yeah that aspect is major bullshit I can’t even lie

There should never be a time where you successfully pull something off and residue from the bosses poo poo is still lingering to hit you

i mean if you cheese him lol

That logic could be applied to every boss in the series

well thingshitting you while getting an oppening on a boss happens on other bosses

you can hit ymx and have his ice things come from behind and hit you

idk, i never felt good enough with the shotlock that I could just willy nilly use it to cheese stuff

actually airstep to him attack block ice coming back at you then reprisal

yeah you just need the right timing on ymx

you can do it the moment he starts casting

The easiest way I found to cheese with the ultima shotlock was when you’re doing the buzz saw attack it’s literally just enough time to lock on lol
