Why did we not have kairi flashbacks in KH3?

Like, it's not as if the game was overloaded with plot. Idc what anyone says KH3 was rushed to me

I feel like Nomura wrote himself into a corner with DDD

With the "13 darknesses and 7 lights have to fight at the same time"

i mean yes they switched engines and had to start from scratch

think of all that time just wasted

And still had four and a half years post engine switch

I honestly like the UE4 stuff way more than luminous engine

UE4 is probably way easier to use

luminous sucks nothing can change my mind on that

UE4 is awesome, switching to it was a great idea

its just easier to use

From what people have told me UE4 is really really user friendly

and UE5 about to make it hella better

Also I agree Liftea, the main problem as I see it is a mixture of a set ending post-DDD alligned with a story that is framed as a long RPG multi-character epic being executed as a relatively short ARPG with a single main playable character where you see everything through their point of view.

KH4 might just be the best with all the tools they have now they can just import assets and the worlds are gonna be even bigger mostly cause i dont think we need gummy ship anymore now that they will instant travel to worlds via portal so there even more room to make more detailed worlds

i mean ik they saw the ratchet game and thats already ideas floating not saying its confirmed but ik they dont live in bubbles

they can use the kh3 assets, models and rigs at least for the next 10-15 years

Level design really disappointed me the most with 3, because I was expecting a sizeable step up from 2 and instead it was a small one

And idea I heard is that Kingdom Hearts 4 is going to be the Kingdom Hearts 2 to Kingdom Hearts 1 progression gameplay-wise improvements

its just instant travel can be a thing now and i can see many games now having portals or something to go to places in an instant
