I just wished the fans were patient and let them completely finish KH3 after they switched to UE4. It would have been 10x better, I swear it would've been THE KH3 of our dreams

Fans being impatient is an awful piece of reasoning for a company not having quality control

i dont think it was due to the fans that KH3 got rushed/had dev hell

Well yes it wasn't most of tge fans rushing it, I just think that UE4 KH3 was a bit rushed.

theres a ton of factors that go into stuff like this and fans are probably the least impactful to be honest

UE4 was a big one but company logistics and the like matter too

cause remember, at the end of the day video games are still a product that are budgeted and invested into via stakeholders and the like

so while it'd be nice to work on a game for 10 years and make it all perfect, you also gotta meet your deadlines that have been laid out

so the engine switch did not help in any way for sure, but also made things generally easier

but now that UE4 is a standard in square too, ideally it should make KH games faster to develop

should they get prioritized and budgeted and still desired to be made by Disney and Square
