I didn't really explore the ocean that much lmao

i found it when i was trying to get to that sandbar island or whatever it's called. damn thing kicked my ass for the first time ever and sent me back to the complete opposite side of the map

i'm like "i just wanted to get to the island!!"

I personally think judging a game for it's speedrunnability (let's pretend that's a word) is honestly kinda dumb. Games like Kingdom Hearts aren't designed for speedrunning.
I'm not gonna stop anyone from doing it. Whatever floats your boat. But don't go expecting it to be good for something it was never intended for.

the davy jones fight was the best part?

Well he did.....sometimes. Like when he brought out the tentacles but other than that not really. He just seemed easily put in a stunlock?

Idk I still have to do my second playthrough but im busy with irl stuff so no time atm. Also im trying to plat re2 in my break times. He was easily the most forgettable bossfight in the game for me.

Caribbean is a good world from a player perspective cause it adds all the extra content. Sure speed runners won't like it but they are a minority compared to 'casuals'

KH2's linear world design is what makes it so good for speedrunning.

KH3 clearly focused more on the exploration side of things.

Judging KH3 worlds in that way is like judging BOTW for not being speedrunner friendly.

Yeah and to most of us, that's a good thing. I never liked KH2's worlds

You could just go to the final boss very early in the game if you really wanted too.

Well considering you have literally no boundaries preventing you for going to the final fight means speedrunners dont have to worry too much about having to do any tedious stuff.

Like the vast majority of the game is skippable

The only thing that would be an issue is the starting area but ways to get outside that area as soon as the game begins was the subject of many videos when the game came out so its now easily done if you know how.

It's like with Bizkit. I like him, I'm subbed to him on twitch. Buy when ever he goes on about kh2 gummi ship and how much he hates it I have to tune out, lol

If it wasn't for the gummi ship he wouldn't have a bathroom break during his kh2 speed run ?
