I've often thought about teaching in Japan for a year or two. What's it like living there?

Teaching in Japan is a great experience honestly! The pay isn't too good unless you're living in the suburbs or rural areas there

If anything, living rural places you closer to shrines, and there's few places on earth more beautiful than a shinto shrine

I definitely recommend going to as many gardens, shrines, temples as you can!
