@Silent Multiverse Nope I think they are unfinished because a lot of the writing doesn't make sense and it feels like a lot of parts of the story lack in context. I really don't care about the dex cut. Personally I think they should remove all old pokemon and reboot the series. But that's just my opinion

and apparently the devs also said in an interview that a lot of content didn't make it into the final game because of the lack of time

i assumed inintinally your reasoning was dex cut because thats why people called the games unfinished

the dex cut is legitimate imo because not a single dev team in the world can handle this amount of pokemon

there are just too many of them now

The whole story about Rose was so strange

Like the thing with the 1000 years

or that a lot of the story happened offscreen

and the game didn't allow you to participate in these events

and then the Champ goes for some reason to Rose to confront him about all the things that are happening

thats because they want us to focus on the gym challenges this time instead of doing the story stuff

trying to change stuff up

and you as a player don't understand the context at all at the end

it's imo similar to FFXV vanilla

where prompto and gladio suddenly disappeared

or ignis losing his sight

bw-sm had you be more involved int he story and all that

with no context
