i missed two weeks ago

ill watch it then this week episode

I think the reason why botws open world is better than the open world in dark souls is, that you don't have to face annoying enemies the whole time and you have more freedom in exploring

Yeah, it's nice to be able to relax and just mess around in the world

like you can climb everywhere, and the mechanics make the world insanely sandboxy

Dark Souls isn't even open world tbf

I like games like the elder scrolls for this reason, too. But they've gotten ..less interesting? with time, making you want to download mods pain

Dark souls is a very linear game that opens up thanks to the shortcuts you make along the way

It's just branching paths that reconnect etc

it\s pretty much a level basied game but there connected xD

the design of BotW's open world is actually so insanely well done that multiple universities that offer game design programms are using the game during lectures to show the students how world design and level design should be done

I haven't gotten around to playing it yet unfortunately

and currently I'm playing Xenoblade 2 which is done by monolith as well and it feels like an early approach to botw's design

I want to play that game, too. But I kinda want to play the others first

yeah, I was wondering if I should wait for the remaster

xenoblade can really be played in any order

the plot works both wise if u play 2 or 1 first

I see

the original had this ff12 artstyle, which isn't bad, but I prefer the new more anime style
