Tbf, the One Piece Dub is extremely unpopular. Not because it's a dub, but simply because it's so far behind not many care to wait on it.

When I started over a few years back, I spent like 10 minutes on one English dub episode before switching. I never pictured Luffy to sound like Teen Gohan.

In fact I never pictured any of the cast with the voices they have in the dub. It was rather off-putting for me personally

I do half prefer the dub, but yeah its progress is quite abhorrent
