omg it was so weird yesterday, all the teachers were lining up outside the school to say bye to all the kids ?
And i had my last mass gathering with my friends after sixth form yesterday for probably the rest of the year ?

Man, I really feel for people in their final year of primary/secondary/sixth form/uni

It must suck so hard, at least everyone else will still see each other next year

Luckily it's not so bad for me tho because i've already done my ICT exams, CGI is gonna be marked based on coursework and my business was only a mock anyway because i'm being forced to stay on an extra year

yeah I dont get the whole give ppl a grade and not earn it

The grade will be based on mocks and work done throughout the year

But you'll still get a chance to "re"take the exam if you aren't happy with the results

To be honest, there's very little else they could have done because GCSES and a levels are so essential for students to move on to the next step

Make the exams in September and you screw over not just this cohort but the next too

Personally, while I totally understand people who would be upset by this, my own mock results for GCSES were dire compared to my actual results, I think it's the fairest way possible

At all stages, but A level especially, exams can be a real poor indicator of an individuals effort and actual capability

I got AAB for my a level mocks, and my results were CEE. I really was mentally firetrucked up, not by anything else, just my exams, and mocks can let you prove your self in a non stressful environment

Yes a lot of people don't take them seriously, I was the same, but the truth is they're there for a reason.
