I can understand that

Though personally I rarely encounter that word in my day to day life

If anything I see more discussion about the word itself and its use than people using it to describe something

Subjective is the one I see more frequently because it's an easy "this is just my opinion" card

The first word I was ever upset to see the destruction of was 'epic'.

Fantastic word. Loved using it. Rarely can now, because most of the impact is gone
