I back then wanted to be a doctor so I'd just dress up as that

Haha well, if it wasn't for middle school/ early high school I'd probably be still in school going for med school

But things happened

Wait middle school?

It was then were my idea of being a doctor went away from my head

And then 11th grade I took a programming class and I sorta stuck on that

And then junior year of Uni is when I was like
Yeah im probably gonna get a career in this

And then senior year is when I actually felt confident of that choice

Just learn to code bro

Essentially what I did

Other than that I genuinely had no idea what I wanted to do until this time last year

For 6 years after that first course haha

Weirdly enough, moving out of my parents house helped a lot

I still don’t really know what I want to do or what I even enjoy doing

I like doing front-end web stuff... I guess

I think the biggest issue is that you're pressured to know all that before you even leave school

Which just isn't the case for so many people

Rather a lot of people figure out AFTER they are in industry

You’re pressured to know that BEFORE you chose a school sometimes

And it’s even worse

It's genuinely not easy

It’s scary.

Family pressure doesn't help either

Most of my elders are doctors, or business folk

Only the people that married into my family are IT

It might be me, but discord is dead
