They just tried to update it to current design trend standards, but honestly their new logo is pretty mediocre, looks like textbook college intern work

Yes, as a designer myself I have spent countless hours trying to make a logo that seems minimal but still has a lot of the company in it

It’s quite a hard task to make something that relates to the client, but still is clean and modern

Less is more these days
