It's a bit the opposite for me ? People assume I speak Nederlands because I'm from Belgium

but do they know the difference between south dialect and north korean dialect ? cause like japanese language had different dialects and kanjis based on the region you visit as a example

japanese is the only example i can use cause i mentioned learning the language for japan trip. but spanish from spain, mexico etc has different dialects and stuff as a example too ¯_(ツ)_/¯
