Reminds me of those scams for promoting otherwise free services.

Probably the type of person that sends scam e-mails or texts to people about accounts they don't have or charges they didn't make so they give away their card info as well

Part of my actual job involves assisting people that get pestered by these illegitimate messages or actually fall for listings/warnings that are too good to be true. Then, there are the actual fraudsters that get enough verification to have an account loaded on a call and ask for a payment refund but they fail our verbal cues for verifications and give away signs that scream suspicious caller.

At first, I thought that guy was going to link to a server or post a false server link that contains a virus that would compromise one's account.

By the time I saw that earlier, I click on the profile and already saw that they were no longer a member in this server and have the yellow circle with an exclamation mark icon on their profile, so the moderation team did well to act quick.
