A Vanitas POV game just sounds like a really angsty visual novel

Not a visual novel, but we play AS him. But every boss fight is either against the Wayfinders or Xehanort.

But, here's the kicker: Their difficulty level spikes the lower their health gets, meaning we die immediately once the bosses reach a certain health threshold.

Maybe the game could stretch out in a Days way where it counts all of his training with Xehanort, maybe even his time in Sora's heart.

The only time Vanitas “wins” in his own game would be against Ventus the first time they fight in the Graveyard. But every other time he loses because it HAS to follow BBS canon.
