Nah he stalled for as long as possible and faced a lawsuit from Twitter when he floated the idea of backing out of the deal.

Paywalling the most basic features of Twitter was found to be ridiculous.

I say basic b/c there are premium (Twitter blue) features.

The EU parliament has now formally passed the new law, which will require all wired chargers for smartphones, tablets, and cameras to utilize USB-C by 2024. Laptops will need to switch to the new standard by 2026.
