Depends on the streamer. I believe the worst thing we had was some longtime subscribers or big donors developing an ego and we told them to firetruck off. These people should never develop a sense of power just because they are longtime viewers. It also prevents to a certain extend parasocial relationships with the streamer or weird hierarchy's in streaming communities because people get reminded that they are just viewers

and during this time I learned that you should never try to talk to these people. Just ban or ignore them. If you give them attention they will act like "uhhh senpai noticed me uwu"

and will get even more obnoxious
