I like the curly hair but the maintenence required is painful- literally 😭

I have the same issue, and sadly, there's no cure for it. No amount of conditioner seems to help, so all I can do is have it trimmed to a real ugly ass short style regularly.

One of these days I might have to just bite the bullet and stick primarily to wearing hats

I need to do more with my thick hair.  I've been wanting to dye it but I've had nobody to help me with that.
