Hello, random question : is there any trope you absolutely love/hate in murder mysteries ?

What lead you here new friend ? Looking for some kh news scraps ?

Not sure about "love" but I like it when they like, reconstruct the crime scene or the events of the murder

Like at the end of an episode of Murder She Wrote or CSI- I like seeing it all come together

Ok i like this too, it's satisfying, i was more thinking about the story itself

Like i hate when they summon some key character right at the end that tie everything together, with no clue they even existed beforehand (some twin or hidden kid)

Interesting, that's good because we have no news

Ohhhh I see- yeah I'm iffy on that- I'm fine if it's been foreshadowed, but if it's just a twist for the sake of it, it's kinda lame

I'm trying to write some kind of death game where a group of people have to figure out who among them is killing them, so i want to avoid these kind of things
