That is actually a big reason I dislike Makoto

at this point, they might as well give the protagonist a real name and voice

Which they should have done

Or at least the voice part

Having dialogue options in the main story is a complete waste as nothing you choose matters

Eh, they're gonna give em a personality as soon as he shows up as a guest character in a Persona 6 Spin Off or P5 Arena. Like they did with Yu, Makoto and Minako

Yu is the cool with a bit of snark.. Makoto is an anti-social,depressive.. and Minako is bubbly and cheery, though judging from the way her dialogue is phrased.. a lot of it is "fake"

because in actuality, she seems to be like Makoto, deep down
