I mean for some people I suppose but I don't really get the appeal of voice chatting with randoms

You get more out of the sound design that way

Handhelds rely heavy on sound design and their music

because music and sounnd design truly make those experiences

that's a thing often accounted for in developement for handheld games

Maybe it's because I grew up voice chatting on halo that I miss it

I never had the internet or split screen thing growing up so I don't remember it at all even though I grew up in that era
