Freezing a card is valid for month(well for me) and just makes things go on for longer than they need to.

Probably better to get a new one

The charge for a new one shouldn't be too high and you'll be set bey next week. Plus freezing doesn't guarantee the problem will be solved

If it's a chance someone has your card info. Freezing can help in some cases. Not in others. But it also means you are left without a card for longer. I usually consider it best to just cancel. Well no I'm just blabbing my experiences while trying to read over what I write
