Frozen stuff can be thawed any way. Everybody who’s has a mother want you to take the chicken out of the freezer would know

Too bad I didn’t know of the hot water technique back then

if you let your chicken sit on the counter over night thawing out for 8 hours.. it will be thawed out within 3 - 4 hours.. if your chicken is not cooked immediately after you wake up. your chicken will be sitting at room temperature for at least 4 hours
