I'm excited for a trilogy with new characters, definitely

though hopefully he gets time to properly plan it all out

Maybe rushing movies to come out within 2 years wasn't the best of ideas

i also dont think this trtilogy was massively planned anyway

I think JJ Abrams actually said in an interview that there was no plan for the trilogy

There still may be chances for prequels and midquels.
