13 heart master sword is rather interesting.

Most zelda games require Maguffins in order to obtain the master sword.

BOTW just wants you to have enough hearts for Link to be able the tank the Great Hylian Hernia he gets from pulling the sword out.

Maybe it’s just me, but I like the fact the Master Sword needs 13 hearts.. It makes it feel like Link has truly earned it, and that he’s proven himself via the trials @Pachirisu_1551552076
