Remember how I mentioned the natural methane volcanos being researched as a possible way to detect life?

NASA is looking further into that on Mars.

When will they give it up

It can occur from recent activity b/c the sun breaks down methane in the atmosphere, but also be caused from geothermal activity. And microbial life can be something like toxic fungi.

They mentioned plans for next year...
