Why is everyone making movies/tv series based off MMO's?

World of warcraft, KOTR, and now Final Fantasy

I don't really hear much stuff about mmo adaptions other than Wow. I guess it's cause they have so much lore and world building to work with

I mean, Disney is considering a KOTR movie.

Although, i'm really not sure if disney should do that.

Considering KOTR is held in pretty high regards in terms of star wars games.

They would have to be super careful with it.

Well Disney are trying to pump out as much Star Wars as they can. And I think KOTR has a generally well received storyline

so it makes sense

If KOTOR does happen, having it be three films will benefit it so much.

I think most people would be satisfied with a remaster.

And besides, Doesn't KOTOR have branching storylines?

Because I know KOTOR had that "your choices effect the game and the story!" mechanic everyone is clambering to do these days.

Broke: Pokémon SWSH is a console game and therefore should look better than it does.
Woke: Switch is also a handheld and thus it's justified in looking the way it does.

but even saying its a portable console, its more powerful than the 3DS so having something look like one and use that excuse doesn't work

Maybe it's because I look at Twitter once a month to minimize the level of lost cells, but I swear that if I saw someone there saying something like that, I would be like "welp, another normal day" and move on
