FF14 is hands down the best ff game in the last 4 installments

and the ending is really really really emotional and good

its just also a game not for everyone

I do think part of it is people have a misconception of the way the game goes I used to think it wasn't anything like it was because it was an MMO so that the game would be bad story-wise

it's no more different than your typical FF

I think part of the experience of ff14 that makes it the best is the MMO aspect though, without it, the world could never be as beautiful and expansive as it is

you can do the shb story completely solo with 3 exceptions

where you have to play with other ppl

I just don't like interacting with other players in games. It's a me thing solely

The last MMO I played was SWTOR. Been wanting to get back into it. Also want to start FF14 at some point.

not that I'm trying to convince you or but people are pretty silent in group content unless you're majorly firetrucking ip or doing wrong rotation people don't talk really

now the only thing that is missing is a kingdom hearts collaboration event

yeah I definitely understand that I used to feel the same now when I try to play other FF it feels empty because there's no other people around

was mad young, but the fact that other players were there always scared me. Could never get into MMOs because of it

god SE really goes all in this year. KH3, DQ Builder 2 (which is apparently very good), DQ11 S (which is insane and together with p5 maybe the best turnbased rpg), shadowbringers (best mmo together with ESO)
