That part of the story and the Haru arc were a little underwhelming especially after palace 4

the story of p5 is imo still good but it has some questionable writing

I was just talking general story

and yes the haru arc was probably the worst

and ppl also didn't like the dungeon

That was mostly because of the lack of enemy weaknesses

Which you know to be fair the game did need a boost in difficulty, ofc the boss itself was rather underwhelming

Add more heist shenanigans like in the first two dungeons

Like how they stole the treasure

All that fun was completely gone when Makoto came in

The death confidant makes it doable though.

Actually yeah that's kind of true. The treasure stealing just got more formulaic. Like most of the ones after were about. Locate the treasure, oh look there it is not let's go back and rest. They kind of did stop trying to set up a route for recovery. It became more about confronting the enemy.

Although dungeon 4 (?), the Futaba one, was great tho

But the rest was pretty much just defeat the boss and take the treasure then dip out

The first dungeon, futaba, casino are my favorite dungeons

Casino one just lasted way too long for me
