I have a newbie question. What is an easy way to tell which medals are the strongest heavy hitters? I understand the best set ups have the first 2 or 3 slots as the “buffer medals” and the remaining slots as the “heavy hitters” but how do I know which medals will give the most damage in those slots?

After I’ve buffed to 15 across the board on attack, I’ve noticed some medals still give far more damage than others. But I’m not sure why.

I'm terrible at explanations, but if you look at the multipliers on the medals, you'll see which are higher. If they have more than one, the higher one is conditional (for example it has to be in a certain slot to get a higher multiplier). Then there's skills and traits to take into account as well.

@ElectriCole first of all, your medals need skills. that's a lot of why you're lacking in damage. don't know what traits your medals have, but that could be a factor as well. namine is fine in that slot, but you might swap her out for a reaper if you have one. ven has the highest multiplier, so he should go on your pet slot instead of tva. also, put tva on the 2nd slot and move sora to the 4th slot.

I already got it figured out with a renova ven from the friends slot but thanks

@thatoneguybackthere_1564535556 thanks the Kirby guide is super useful. So now im mostly looking at base strength and multipliers when thinking about which would be my best attackers. But when looking at that main strength #, if a medal has 3 or hits, or 8 hits, or whatever , does that mean I’m really multiplying it by the number of hits? Or does that number encompass all hits?

A better way to ask this. Let’s say I have two medals with the exact same base strength listed and the exacted same multiplier listed. But one does one hit and one does 3 hits. Is the latter one doing three times the amount of damage?!

no, the damage is spread out across the hits. if a medal has 10k str and does 10 hits, then each hit is doing 1k. you know, to put it in super simple, not 100% accurate terms. but it's late and my brain is mush, so this'll have to do

@DBuchwald

^ The medal that does one hit is doing all the damage at once while the 3 hit medal is spreading it across the 3 hits.

I understand now. Thanks guys super helpful.

Anything I should adjust?

put tva earlier, strongest magic last

I need to have illus. Aqua behind it so I can make it magic

oh it turns it magic ok didn't know

Yep

So what if I moved illus. Kairi last and the other two back one

tva would lose damage because of the slot

I'd put her first.
