so wait is this THE last story jp is getting? or is there one more after this

well i guess jp and us now

From what I am getting, in April Japan is getting the last story for UX while Dark Road is going offline but is getting more story added to it

And I am guessing the same applies to the English one

i thought april was when it was going offline for both

but ux is playable as a dressup game

and a theater mode

while DR goes out completely until Sept

so im guessing if we do have one more update its mid march

this is hella bittersweet lol

Does anyone understand what they mean by save user data? Like say if we get a new phone for instance will we be able to still migrate our data to the new phone after this save user data

no more migrating data after you transfer it to the offline version

the announcement has the details in it somewhere

So once I save user data it's no more migrating

But you can still migrate data if you didn't switch it to offline yet

So the games won't be playable past that date?

on may 30th, the game goes offline. ux will have parts of it available like avatar customization and theater mode. dr is gone completely until September when they drop the rest of the story

Meaning even the story mode will be unavailable in Union?

So someone, like, playing for the first time past that date will just have every cutscenes unclocked and that's it? Or it's cutscenes unlocked through the playthrough? Meaning new players (if any) will have a blank theater?

once the game goes offline, the app is essentially going to be a 2d sprite customization app with story

it talks about earning levels and stuff so i assume it will still have a bit of gameplay

That's actually cool. The game becomes a movie, it doesn't disappear altogether (hello Chaos Rings)

It's a nice move, to be honest

Sad it doesn't allow the story to still be playable but better than nothing

yeah would have been neat to see some sort of rework to the system to be able to play offline

like a gacha system that is more lenient and only uses in game currency

or something

I'm definitely gonna have to have a stream the night of the closing

I’m actually feeling really bittersweet about this, this game have literally been my life ? for the last five years and now it’s coming to an end, it’s sad. But in a way I’m glad because then I can save a bit more money ?
