Fun fact about this meme, it's caused quite the controversy in the Touhou community

people are afraid to play Easy mode for the feeling of being judged and some members will even shame others for playing Easy for going along with this meme

it's just one of those things that when a meme happens and you have a lot of passionate fans then newcomers find it really hard to get into said things since many people forget what it's like to be a newcomer

we have to continuously remind people that newcomers will NOT have the same skill as them and that they will not be able to a lot of the crazy things they can do for a long time much like how it took them years to get where they are

I just generally don't like fighting games because that's what the entire community is

I can't tell you how many times like I've happened to have a fighting game and somebody who likes them wants to play

naturally I lose

and then when 10 minutes was spent actually playing the game

2 hours was spent trying to teach me the game
