Honestly the subreddit is one of the more open to others opinions then other parts of the fandom

Even the comments on that post are people discussing their favorite games civilly

The place that isn’t so open is Facebook, people on Facebook are impatient and follow that kind of hive mind. I remember seeing comments like “release kh3 now” “the series sucks” “release kh3 it’s been 10 years” etc etc. as soon as kh3 dropped I saw comments like “kh3 sucked” “this game was terrible” etc etc. and now comments like “release kh4” are surfacing.
Whenever someone had a different opinion, half the time the replies are telling them why they were wrong.
Other social medias are very mixed in terms of how open they are, it really just depends on where you go

facebook is the worst in regards to kh in my experience

There was a lot of downsides but not really wrt the fandom aspect

But it’s gonna be us younger people that have the potential to carry the series on if the older people stop playing

You know I guess that is a bit of a gripe I could see myself having with the series is that it probably hasn’t ever quite tried to grow up alongside the fan base, it just keeps trying to maintain the attention of young audiences as much as possible while the darker aspects are just sorta underlying elements sometimes

Yeah it comes across as a very surface level thing sometimes
