To change the room to something else if you need something specific.

It's best for grinding things.

They are, yes.

Some cards create rooms with tons of enemies, some with none, some with treasure, etc.

It's most helpful for changing a room to roulette room in case you need a very specific card to open the next door

does this apply to the gba version too? cause i don't recall being able to change the rooms in that one
