It's annoying that you both don't and do need to know x/unchained x to fully understand union cross

Union X is for me the best story in the entire franchise because the writing is really good

the MoM alone carries so hard

he is written like Emet Selch in FFXIV

I wonder if they would remake just UX or if they would do X/unchained X as well. Cuz that would make things so bloated imo

the only "flaw" of UX storytelling is that it didn't go deep enough into how the foretellers are like cult followers

I feel like the only way that would get pulled off is if they convince Team Asano to do it. Maybe.

UX ending where Ephemer and Skuld go into their pods and Ephemer cries because his best friend is gonna die is so heartbreaking

Brain is also really well written because he constantly asks questions the player has

tbh they could prob throw all of that and dark road into 1 console game

play wise, all the story combined would basically be 1 console game worth of content if you think of the hours to go through it all and battling

Just watched all of evangelion and OKAY so Xion is like HEAVILY inspired by Rei Ayanami

I think a good amount of Kingdom Hearts is inspired by Eva lmao

That's the whole vibe 4 has given me since they announced it

The darkside in the kh4 trailer is giving MASSIVE 3rd angel vibes

For Xion especially her arc in 358 is remarkably similar to Reis

She begins as just a blank slate, a empty vessel given life for a singular purpose

But through interactions with those who show her kindness she begins to develop a form of a bond with them

But [spoiler] in the end it all falls apart because she knows her goal must pursue it to its natural conclusion which is a gaurenteed death for her. Also both are absorbed by their "true selves" who are sleeping in a egg [/spoiler]

Half the dialouge from master of Masters would not be out of place during Third Impact lol
