I acknowledge that the Warriors gameplay style is simple but there’s value in that. Sometimes you need a healthy outlet to unleash your rage without really thinking. One of the ways in which games can do good.

Basically the digital equivalent of hitting a punching bag.

Sure its simple on its surface but it doesnt mean there cant be some depth underneath it, hell I'd say the same sentiment applies to all the numbered games, but it would be a fairly different type of game

It would for sure. I think the biggest change would be the focus on solo combat.

Kingdom Hearts combat at its core is very simple on the service, but, there's depth to it if you dig a little deeper.

Like yes you can just button mash X and live (mostly) but, you can do so much more.

Really depends on the difficulty but yeah like you can get away with throwing your head at a brick wall for most on lower ones

Only exceptions are Data 3 fights and Yozora but thats by design

The KH speed runners were very vocal 😔

I never have to hear the word "floaty" again as long as I live....

To be fair though, these criticisms are why difficulty options exist. I mean, some only care about the story or completion or stuff like that.

I mean yeah theres critisms to be had with every game but some people's complaints just boiled down to "its not 2 so reeeeee"

Gameplay, story, tone, you name it- it got compared to it lol

Even though KH2 is far from flawless, let’s be honest

Kh3 was like they went back not forward with combat and pacing

Then remind happened

At least they got rid of the pointless second world visits
