My thoughts on Nomura’s interview

I find it hard to believe that that was the “whole appeal”. The series was never conceived nor marketed as a crossover. Anyone who sees it as such is just projecting.

For me a lot of the appeal comes from how seriously Disney is taken in the games. And the other major factor is Sora. He’s so damn likable.

It just goes to show that people have appeal to certain things even if it's for different reasons, there is nothing wrong with that in general, it's interesting take overall. Now just because he is making his point across doesn't mean he hasn't entirely ditched the concept of implementing FF characters in the future if he thinks it's suitable, he still likely will but it's not the main focus
